common household or fabrics that can be use for muzzleloaders
here is a few goods that I used or tried inn the past
Cleaning
Windex
store brand window cleaner
brand call blue wolf all purpose
carb cleaner (on sidelocks only the lock itself)
dawn
91% rubbing alcohol
fabrics
going to break this down a little better in what uses of for the fabric
pillow tinkering (shooting patches and cleaning patches) 0.015 to .018
music (shooting patches and cleaning patches) .015 to as high as .020
flower bags (can be found at walmart with the kitchen towels)(cleaning) .005 (very thin)
100% cotton fleece (cleaning patches/shooting patches) .080 - .010
other
crisco
gulf wax
murphy's oil soup
olive oil
home made bullet lubes and patch lube can be found on any search engine key worked in bold. I will make a lube post under the casting section in the near future.
